Chaos Fallen is a high-population ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and are both non-agricultural and industrial in nature with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- As a group of industrial worldlets, well-developed manufacturing and processing sectors are major business here. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It is a member of the Talpaku Communality in the String of Pearls Subsector of Yiklerzdanzh Sector.
- Asteroid Belts have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
- This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Chaos Fallen is a binary star system.
- The primary is a white main sequence.
- The secondary is a white dwarf stellar remnant
Binary Solar System
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been partially surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- An unknown number of secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 planetoid belts.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Chaos Fallen is an Asteroid Belt mainworld.
The belt orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
- It receives lower levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Chaos Fallen is an Asteroid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects.
- Asteroid Belt is the belt when it is the mainworld of a system.
- Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
None of the bodies within the Chaos Fallen belt retain an atmosphere.
- The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
- TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The Chaos Fallen belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Chaos Fallen has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to a Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Chaos Fallen has a population of 7,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- The population almost entirely consists of Talpaku.
- A few humans and other sophonts may be encountered.
Urbanization[edit]
Population groups live in hollowed-out rocky planetoids, some using certain Carillon bio-tech products.
- The population is socially very fragmented. The head of the largest community tends to speak for the system and represent it in Communality affairs.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
Talpaku, a language comprised of whistles and clicks, is commonly used on the world.
- Talpaku cannot vocalize human sound, and even the most skilled humans can only poorly imitate spoken Talpaku.
- Language Translators are widely used for inter-species communication.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Chaos Fallen possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
World Government (G)[edit]
Chaos Fallen is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are young governments, coming as a recent change and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.
World Law (L)[edit]
Chaos Fallen has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
Each world in the Talpaku Communality has its own currency, the values of which fluctuate against each other according to economic circumstances.
There is a "reference" unit of currency called the kuyo, which is used by the Communality government, by multistellar companies, and for transactions between individuals and companies on different worlds.
Chaos Fallen is the main source of lanthanum for the Talpaku Communality.
World Culture[edit]
The world lies within the Zhodani Shadow, a region strongly influenced by the society and culture of the Zhodani Consulate.
World Timeline[edit]
